About Jackie Shepherd

Jackie, originally from Dayton, Ohio, is the eldest of eleven siblings in a family deeply rooted in real estate. Her parents established a successful real estate business in Ohio before relocating to Austin, Texas, in 1984. There, Jackie earned a degree in Commercial Art from Southwest Texas State University.

She began her professional journey in the hospitality industry, serving as a Restaurant Manager for Macaroni Grill. In 1994, Jackie transitioned to Dallas, where she spent two decades as a Commercial Property Manager with Jones Lang LaSalle and Lincoln Property Company.

In 2015, Jackie met Wade Pettis, and they married in 2017. Together, they have three adult sons, two of whom are pursuing higher education, while the youngest serves in the Army. With a shared passion for real estate and a long-standing affection for Colorado, the couple decided to embark on a new chapter by acquiring Wapiti Ranch Realty & Auction LLC.

Jackie enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, skiing, fishing, and golfing. Her artistic talents continue to flourish, and she looks forward to painting during her downtime.
