About Jain Tuey
Jain Tuey, a native of Humboldt County, has deep roots in the region, having grown up along the Van Duzen River in the quaint town of Swains Flat, just off Highway 36. A graduate of Fortuna High School, Jain pursued her passion for basketball at the collegiate level, showcasing her skills at Shasta College, College of the Redwoods, and Humboldt State University.
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Humboldt State University, Jain transitioned into coaching, initially serving as the Assistant Basketball Coach at College of the Redwoods. Within three years, she advanced to the position of Head Coach, where her leadership was recognized by her peers, leading to her election as Conference Representative. In her third year at the helm, Jain achieved remarkable success, guiding her team to a GVC Conference Championship and a spot in the Sweet 16 of the state playoffs, revitalizing the women’s basketball program and establishing it as a competitive force.
Jain's competitive spirit and dedication extend beyond athletics; she is equally passionate about real estate. With a keen eye for homes throughout Humboldt County and beyond, she recognizes the emotional nuances involved in buying or selling a property.
