About James Kitchen

Born in Orlando, Florida, and raised on a family cattle farm in Spring Hill, Tennessee, this real estate professional cherishes the memories of childhood spent playing baseball in local orange groves and counting cattle alongside his grandfather. The experiences of farm life—gardening, fishing, chopping wood, and caring for horses, pigs, chickens, and cows—shaped his upbringing. He recalls the warmth of summer nights without air conditioning and the cozy gatherings around a wood-burning stove during winter.

The journey into real estate began as a family endeavor in the early 1980s when his parents established a boutique realty office in 1985, coinciding with the announcement of the Saturn (GM) Plant, which transformed Spring Hill and much of Middle Tennessee. He immersed himself in the industry from a young age and officially joined the family business after completing his college education.

Since 1993, he has had the privilege of assisting thousands of families across every county in Middle Tennessee. Notable achievements in his career include earning the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation and being recognized by RealTrends as one of the "Best Real Estate Agents" in the United States. He has also been honored as an "Endorsed Local Provider" for real estate on “The Dave Ramsey Show” and is currently featured as one of the “Real Estate Agents I Trust” by radio personality Glenn Beck.
