About James Rosenfeld

Jim Rosenfeld, a second-generation Houstonian, developed a deep-seated passion for real estate at an early age. Growing up in Sharpstown Country Club Estates, he was captivated by the historic homes in his grandparents' Montrose neighborhood. His early experiences included attending open houses and exploring new construction with his mother, which sparked his lifelong interest in the field.

While studying at the University of Texas, Jim played a pivotal role in his parents' venture to build one of the first custom homes in Sugar Creek, one of Houston's inaugural master-planned communities. After earning a BBA in finance, he began his professional journey as a trust officer at First City National Bank in downtown Houston. In 1976, while still with the bank, he obtained his Texas real estate license and embarked on a career that involved collaborating with many of the original developers of townhouse, condominium, and residential high-rise projects in the Tanglewood area.

Jim later established San Felipe Properties, an independent real estate firm he successfully operated for over three decades. Currently, as a Realtor with Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty, he specializes in Houston's prominent neighborhoods and upscale master-planned communities surrounding the metropolitan area. His reputation for integrity and character underpins his business, while his exceptional communication and negotiation skills are enhanced by meticulous follow-through and professionalism.

Jim is committed to providing clients with current market insights and product knowledge, empowering them to make informed decisions. His expertise encompasses everything from the latest interior design trends to contemporary construction standards. He strives for the highest level of satisfaction for both buyers and sellers, fostering enduring relationships that have evolved into decades-long friendships.

A long-time resident of the West University area, Jim actively participates in various honorary underwriting and auction committees for numerous charitable organizations in Houston. He is also an investor in a diverse portfolio of income-producing properties, including townhouses, high-rises, and new constructions throughout the greater Houston area. In his leisure time, Jim enjoys reading real estate and financial literature, biographies, and non-fiction, as well as gardening and fitness training. He also relishes traveling and exploring luxury communities across the country.

Houston's inner loop commands premium pricing with its mix of luxury condominiums, historic neighborhoods like River Oaks and Montrose, and rapidly gentrifying areas such as EaDo and the Heights. The Energy Corridor and Galleria districts attract corporate relocations and international buyers, while master-planned communities in Katy, Sugar Land, and The Woodlands offer family-oriented suburban living with top-rated schools and extensive amenities.

Emerging markets in Cypress, Tomball, and Pearland showcase some of the county's fastest appreciation rates, driven by new construction and infrastructure improvements.
