About James Bremner

Jim, a Northern California native, earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Stanford University in 1983. He began his professional journey at Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco, where he specialized in lending. In 1986, he relocated to Los Angeles to focus on asset-based lending for middle-market import/export firms, ultimately rising to the position of Vice President.

In the early 1990s, Jim transitioned into real estate with the esteemed Jon Douglas Company. Leveraging his exceptional business acumen and marketing expertise, he quickly established himself as a leading agent in the Brentwood office. His success led to a promotion to Associate Manager, a role he has maintained throughout his career. In 2018, Jim's firm merged with the innovative brokerage Compass, combining the strengths of a well-established company with cutting-edge technology.

Jim specializes in representing high-end buyers and sellers throughout the Westside, with a particular focus on the Westwood and Brentwood neighborhoods.
