Residing in Newcastle on a serene ten-acre property, she and her husband, Jim, cultivate a vibrant lifestyle that includes vegetable gardens, fruit and nut trees, horses, mini donkeys, and chickens, providing them with fresh eggs.
Their daughter, Laura, along with four grandchildren, live nearby in Granite Bay, allowing for cherished family gatherings and support on the farm. The eldest granddaughters are both special education teachers in the greater Seattle area, with Devon focusing on autism and Taylor on behavioral disorders. Their grandson, Zak, is a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo engineering graduate currently enrolled in a fire academy in San Jose, while Kendall is completing her second year at Gonzaga University in Spokane. The family hopes to see all of them return to the area in the future.
