About Janet Hewlett

Raised in Georgetown, Texas, after moving from Dallas at the age of seven, this real estate professional comes from a rich lineage of Realtors and homebuilders. With a grandfather who constructed homes in Frio County and another who specialized in ranch sales in Williamson County, real estate is deeply embedded in their family history. Early exposure to the industry came through accompanying their father and aunt—both brokers—on property tours and listings. This foundation ignited a lasting passion for home design, architecture, and landscaping, coupled with a commitment to helping clients achieve their real estate objectives through meticulous preparation and informed guidance.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas Tech University, they began their career in the Public Relations department at EDS in Dallas. Subsequently, they taught Business courses in the Georgetown Independent School District while pursuing a Master’s degree in Education from Texas State University.

In 2000, they transitioned to real estate, training under the esteemed Emily Moreland and Judi Shanklin in Georgetown. This mentorship provided invaluable coaching in ethics and industry practices, shaping their professional approach. Following the sale of the Georgetown office by Emily, they joined J Paul Aubin Real Estate, a burgeoning brokerage that fostered a supportive community of Realtors.

A strong belief in community service was instilled by their parents, leading to active volunteerism in various organizations. Their commitment to service is unwavering, as evidenced by their involvement in numerous initiatives, including:
