Janet has lived in our area since 1985 residing in Queen Anne's County for 12 years prior to her move to Easton in 1998 She is a graduate of Dickinson College where she majored in Political Science and Environmental Studies and worked as a lobbyist for the Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce After graduation she worked on the D C legislative staff of two United States Senators and has since served as Vice President of two computer software companies in Annapolis

Janet is a member of the National Association of Realtors the Maryland Association of Realtors and the Midshore Board of Realtors She is active in the community and has served on numerous local boards including the Parent's Association and the Board of Trustees of The Country School the Parent's Association of Gunston Day School the board of the American Cancer Society and has volunteered for the Talbot County YMCA as well as "Project Idlewild" a local effort to build a children's playground at Idlewild Park
