About Janet Sawyer

I was born and raised here in the Wiregrass area in a small community called Arguta After graduating from high school I worked at Fort Rucker AL and attended college at night I obtained an undergraduate degree from Troy University in 1981 That same year President Reagan fired thousands of air traffic controllers when their union voted to strike I was part of the second wave of trainees hired to replace those fired controllers I enjoyed 12 years with the Federal Aviation Administration working as a controller at both Jacksonville Air Route Traffic Control Center as well as the Fort Worth ARTCC I was serving as an area supervisor at the Houston ARTCC when my now husband Sam flew out to Houston and asked me to marry him I said "yes" and now 25 years and three beautiful teenage daughters later we make Enterprise our home During those 25 years my husband and I bought numerous rental properties which I managed We also bought a 22 acre Christmas tree farm which we developed into a subdivision we call Tannenbaum Farm ("Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree!) We divided the acreage into 11 lots of varying sizes and built our dream home on Lot 11 our lucky number With our girls getting older it just seemed a natural progression for me to segueway into real estate I'm glad I did because I love my job! I love helping people find "that perfect place" and helping them navigate their way to closing and to making that place "home" I hope you will call me today and let me help you find "home"
