As a founding member of San Marino's Chinese school and a dedicated participant in the San Marino Schools Foundation for over a decade, she has played a pivotal role in various fundraising initiatives. Notably, she served as Community Chair for the Race to the Finish Campaign, which successfully raised over $2 million for local schools. Additionally, she has introduced and facilitated a motivational program at San Marino High School for more than ten years.

Janice has also dedicated the past decade to serving on the board of The Charitable Foundation, a philanthropic arm of Prudential that has distributed approximately $4 million in grants to numerous local organizations focused on enhancing education, health, and environmental initiatives.
