About Jarrod Harper

Jarrod, a native of Frostburg, Maryland, has a diverse background that uniquely positions him in the real estate sector. He joined the Mountaineer family in 2012 on a full athletic scholarship, where he excelled in football, earning letters in four out of five years while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in criminology at West Virginia University.

Following his collegiate career, Jarrod signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, marking the beginning of his professional journey in the NFL. Unfortunately, a career-ending injury led him to pivot to insurance sales in Philadelphia. However, his connection to West Virginia remained strong, and he returned to his roots when offered a position on the WVU football coaching staff. As a graduate assistant coach for the defensive backs, he also earned a Master’s degree in sports management.

While coaching provided valuable experiences, Jarrod found the demands of the profession took him away from family and friends. Prioritizing family over the rigors of coaching, he decided to channel his passion for real estate. Jarrod is committed to bringing the same enthusiasm, dedication, and excellence to his real estate practice that he demonstrated on the field. He is eager to guide clients through their home buying and selling journeys with the same determination he applied in his athletic career.
