**Bio:** Originally from France and Luxembourg, Jean-Luc graduated from the prestigious Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC Paris), with additional studies at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and Cologne University in Germany. His professional journey began as an insurance broker at Cabinet Diot SA, where he worked in Paris, London, and Riyadh, focusing on political and credit risk insurance. He later joined the Swiss commodity trading firm Andre SA, where he specialized in negotiating countertrade and barter transactions with both private and governmental entities across Eastern Europe, Asia, the Maghreb, and the Middle East.

In 1998, Jean-Luc relocated to the United States, settling in Portland, Oregon, where he became a real estate broker and relocation specialist with Windermere Real Estate, while also managing the U.S. representation for Galerie d'Art Sylvie Platini. In 2006, he moved to Palo Alto, joining Intero Los Altos and Menlo Park before becoming part of the Palo Alto office of Alain Pinel Realtors, now Compass. A dual citizen of the U.S. and France, Jean-Luc resides in Palo Alto with his wife, Debbie, their son, Peter, and their dog, Zoe. He is passionate about real estate, architecture, the arts, gardening, nature, travel, foreign languages, and humanism.
