Jean Marie is a distinguished graduate of The University of Texas, where she studied in the Department of Natural Sciences, and Clare College at Cambridge University. Her academic pursuits also include intensive studies focused on Italian villas and palaces, complemented by two semesters at the University of Texas. With a robust background in subdivision development, her most significant achievement is the renowned Steiner Ranch in Austin, Texas.

Her expertise extends to marketing, sales, and interior design for both residential and commercial properties, encompassing a diverse range of projects, including restaurants, medical facilities, and office spaces. In 2007, she served as Chair of the Corpus Christi Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers, showcasing her leadership in the field.
