About Jean-Paul Peron

Jean-Paul, often referred to as J-P, made the transition from Newark, Delaware, to the Outer Banks, where he previously served as a full-time Realtor with Weichert Realtors. After acquiring his own property in the Outer Banks in 2004, he settled in Carova and joined RE/MAX Ocean Realty in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. In 2009, he opted to move to Sun Realty’s Corolla office to be closer to the 4-Wheel Drive beaches he serves. By 2010, J-P became a member of the Outer Banks Real Estate Company.

When asked about his choice to reside on the 4x4 beaches, J-P expressed, "I appreciate the tranquil atmosphere and the welcoming community of the northern Outer Banks. As a Realtor, I have the opportunity to focus on this distinctive area, which offers a unique experience unlike anywhere else in the United States. The northern beaches, including Corolla and Carova, have preserved the authentic charm and character of the old Outer Banks more than the other barrier islands."

Outside of his professional commitments, Jean-Paul dedicates his time to his wife and actively volunteers with the Corolla Wild Horse Fund, N.E.S.T., and the Carova Volunteer Fire Department.
