Her professional accolades include being named Realtor of the Year in 1996, serving as President of the Solano Association of Realtors in both 1999 and 2011, and holding a directorial position with the California Association of Realtors for 14 years. In 2006, Jeannie received the ATHENA Award, honoring women who exemplify excellence, creativity, and initiative in their careers while also contributing significantly to community welfare. Additionally, Jeannie and her husband Tim were honored as Grand Marshals of Benicia’s Annual Torchlight Parade on July 3, 2019.

Jeannie’s commitment to community service began with her involvement in the American Cancer Society's "Relay For Life." Through the efforts of family, colleagues, clients, and friends, the "Hamann's Hearts 4 A Cure" team has successfully raised over $300,000 for the organization over the years. In recognition of her contributions, Jeannie received the Sharon Miller Award at the annual Relay for Life event in Vallejo/Benicia in 2018.

In May 2015, Jeannie and Tim established The Tim & Jeannie Hamann Foundation, aimed at providing financial support to local cancer patients during their treatment journeys and advancing cancer research. Over the past four years, the Foundation, which operates entirely with volunteers, has distributed more than $550,000 in assistance to those in need.
