The Altman Brothers achieved remarkable sales figures, totaling $1.1 billion in 2022 and $1.464 billion in 2021. Notably, in 2023, Josh Altman facilitated the year’s most significant sale in Newport Coast, valued at $55 million. As a key member of this dynamic team, JoAnna appears on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles,” where she highlights the team’s listings and collaborates closely with Josh and Matt on prestigious transactions. Before joining the Altman Brothers, JoAnna was part of The Oppenheim Group, featured on the Netflix series “Selling Sunset.” She also spent five years as a credit derivatives broker for prestigious firms such as Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan, in addition to a sales career at Bloomberg LP.

Originally from New York City, JoAnna holds a degree in Communications and Business Administration from Fordham University. She purchased her first property in Manhattan at the age of 24 and is passionate about helping clients find their dream homes and build generational wealth through real estate. After relocating to California in 2013, she acquired her second home at 30. JoAnna currently resides in Century City and Newport Beach with her husband, Roman James, a prominent celebrity home builder who runs a full-service architectural development and construction firm specializing in luxury residences. They are proud parents to their daughter, Lily Grace, and their French Bulldog, Sonny.

In her leisure time, JoAnna enjoys boxing, tennis, and golf, and is actively involved in various charitable organizations. She has been a long-time supporter of the John Wayne Cancer Institute and Children’s Hospital LA, and she donates a portion of her commissions to Food on Foot, an organization dedicated to finding housing and employment for the homeless.
