Before embarking on his real estate career, Joe was involved in his family's wind turbine business, contributing to its growth into one of the leading electrical contracting firms in the United States, which focused on delivering clean energy solutions across the Southwest.

Originally from Bakersfield, Joe attended California State University, Northridge, and spent a decade in the Los Angeles area before relocating to Carlsbad in 1997. During his time in Los Angeles, he was actively engaged in theater and film, including a notable tenure at the American Film Institute in Hollywood.

Joe is a proud father of two daughters, both of whom are actively involved in the local theater community in North San Diego County. He values spending quality time with them and remains engaged in his community through charitable work and outdoor activities.
