Joe was born and raised in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood on Chicago's Southwest Side. He spent 18 years as a bus mechanic for the Chicago Transit Authority before transitioning to real estate with Coldwell Banker in 2001. In 2007, he left the CTA to focus entirely on his real estate career. Despite entering the market during a challenging period, Joe has no regrets about his decision to pursue this path. He resides in Darien with his wife, Lisa, and their yellow lab, Charlie.
