With over 17 years of experience in the textile industry in Venezuela, Joel D. Valencia transitioned to South Florida in 2003, drawn by the dynamic real estate market. His initial foray into real estate investing began shortly thereafter, and by 2004, his enthusiasm led him to assemble a dedicated team. By 2005, he founded a brokerage that expanded to over 40 agents.

The 2008 real estate downturn posed significant challenges; however, the robust foundation established in prior years enabled him to navigate this difficult period with resilience. During this time, Joel recognized the importance of furthering his education and returned to Florida International University. By the end of 2012, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and Management, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration, equipping him with essential skills for success in the industry.

In September 2013, after evaluating various franchise opportunities, Joel joined Keller Williams Realty, attracted by its sustainable business model that aligns with his long-term career aspirations.
