John's connection to the Monterey Peninsula began with his first encounter with the breathtaking landscapes of Pebble Beach's 17-Mile Drive, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Big Sur, and the surrounding communities. This initial experience led him to make the area his home. His background as a professional caddie at Pebble Beach Resorts allowed him to collaborate with numerous business leaders, celebrities, and professional athletes during over 1,000 rounds of golf along the central coast.

A dedicated community advocate, John is passionate about giving back. He actively supports Youth on Course, a nonprofit organization that creates transformative opportunities through golf. Since 2017, he has committed to donating 100 rounds of golf for every transaction completed. In recognition of his philanthropic efforts, he was named "Man of the Year" in 2019 during a 10-week fundraising competition for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Monterey Bay chapter, where he raised the highest total among candidates. This honor was particularly meaningful, as it was dedicated to his grandmother, who succumbed to B-Cell Lymphoma, and a close friend currently battling Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. John remains engaged with the local chapter by serving on the Leadership Team for the Man & Woman of the Year initiative.
