About Jon Benton

**Agent Bio**

A native of Phoenix, this real estate professional has deep roots in the area, having grown up in the Moon Valley neighborhood of North Phoenix. After completing high school at Brophy College Preparatory, he pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Studies at the University of Colorado. Following his studies, he returned to Phoenix with aspirations of moving to Los Angeles. However, life took an unexpected turn when he met his first wife, leading him instead to New York City, where he spent five years as an Art Director in the film and television industry. Ultimately, the allure of his hometown drew him back to Phoenix.

In 2005, he reestablished himself in Phoenix and embarked on a career in real estate. Although his first marriage ended in divorce, he found love again in 2007 and is now happily married with three wonderful children, residing once more in Moon Valley, where his journey began.

His passion for real estate is evident; he thrives on helping clients, whether they are first-time homebuyers or seasoned investors. Each transaction presents a unique challenge, making the field dynamic and rewarding. His diverse professional background, which includes both employment and self-employment, has enriched his approach to real estate, allowing him to provide exceptional service to his clients.

**Professional Experience**

He began his real estate career at a small Re/Max office in Laveen upon returning from Brooklyn, New York. After gaining valuable experience in Laveen, he transitioned back to North Central Phoenix in 2008, a region he has always cherished. During this period, he adapted to the changing market by expanding his client base to include investment companies, as they were among the few active buyers during the downturn. By 2010, he had developed a robust practice, managing an average of 7-15 transactions simultaneously.

In 2013, he joined HomeSmart Elite, a prestigious office reserved for top-producing agents within the brokerage, located in the vibrant North Central Corridor. His expertise spans both large commercial transactions and single-family home purchases. While he primarily serves residential buyers and sellers, he also collaborates closely with local developers and builders on commercial projects.

With a commitment to competitive rates, professional knowledge, expert negotiation skills, and a personable approach, he strives to create enjoyable and stress-free experiences for his clients. He welcomes inquiries and looks forward to connecting with those interested in navigating the real estate market.

Maricopa County stands as Arizona's economic powerhouse and the fourth-largest county in the United States by population, creating one of the nation's most dynamic real estate markets. Home to Phoenix, Scottsdale, and numerous rapidly growing suburbs, this sprawling desert metropolis has transformed from a retirement destination into a thriving hub for technology companies, manufacturing, and young professionals seeking affordable alternatives to California's expensive coastal markets.

The county's real estate landscape reflects this dramatic growth, supported by an impressive network of 38,325 actively licensed agents—all of whom maintain current email contact information. This robust agent population serves a market characterized by diverse housing options, from luxury desert estates in Scottsdale to affordable starter homes in emerging communities like Surprise and Goodyear, creating opportunities across every price segment and buyer demographic.

Major Maricopa County, Arizona Real Estate Markets

Phoenix anchors the region as the fifth-largest city in America, with distinct neighborhoods like Central Phoenix experiencing urban revitalization while established areas like Ahwatukee maintain their suburban appeal. Scottsdale commands premium prices with its resort-style living and proximity to world-class golf courses, while Tempe benefits from Arizona State University's presence, driving consistent rental demand. Mesa, often overlooked despite being larger than Atlanta or Miami, offers exceptional value for families and has become a hotspot for California transplants.

The West Valley communities of Glendale, Peoria, and Avondale have emerged as major growth centers, attracting young families with new construction and master-planned communities. Meanwhile, the Southeast Valley cities of Chandler and Gilbert have evolved into technology corridors, with major employers like Intel and Microchip creating sustained housing demand. These diverse markets each require specialized knowledge, making local agent expertise invaluable for successful transactions.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Maricopa County's real estate market operates across multiple distinct climate zones and development patterns, from dense urban infill projects in downtown Phoenix to sprawling estate lots in Desert Mountain. The region's rapid population growth—adding over 100,000 residents annually—creates constant pressure on housing inventory, while seasonal migration patterns from colder states influence both sales and rental markets. This complexity requires agents to understand everything from HOA restrictions in age-restricted communities to water rights in rural areas.

The market's seasonality presents unique challenges and opportunities, with "snowbird" migration creating distinct busy periods from November through March, followed by a summer slowdown when temperatures exceed 110 degrees. Additionally, the prevalence of cash buyers, investment properties, and vacation homes creates transaction patterns unlike traditional residential markets, requiring agents who understand investor motivations and can navigate complex 1031 exchanges and multi-property portfolios.

Why Businesses Need Maricopa County, Arizona Agent Contact Data

The sheer scale of Maricopa County's agent network makes targeted outreach essential for service providers, technology companies, and financial institutions seeking to capture market share. With 38,325 agents generating thousands of monthly transactions, businesses offering everything from home inspection services to mortgage products need efficient ways to reach decision-makers across this vast geographic area. Email marketing remains the most cost-effective method for reaching agents who are constantly mobile between showings and client meetings.

Furthermore, Maricopa County's diverse market segments require tailored messaging strategies—luxury specialists in Paradise Valley have different needs than first-time buyer agents in Avondale. Having comprehensive contact data allows businesses to segment their outreach based on geographic specialization, transaction volume, or market focus, dramatically improving response rates and conversion potential while building lasting relationships in one of America's most important real estate markets.
