Joe Cutajar, originally from Dearborn Heights, Michigan, relocated to Amelia Island, Florida, in 1984 after completing his studies at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He embarked on a successful seven-year culinary career before being recruited by the PGA Tour, where he ultimately held the position of Director of Food & Beverage at TPC at Sawgrass.

In 1997, Joe returned to Amelia Island to become the inaugural General Manager of the newly established Amelia Island Club, where he oversaw the opening of both the Ocean and Long Point Clubhouses. Transitioning to the real estate sector in 2002, he began his career as an agent at Omni Amelia Island Plantation, consistently ranking among the top sales agents in the area. After obtaining his Florida Real Estate Broker license, Joe joined Sotheby’s International Realty in 2013, where he has maintained a strong presence as one of the top five producers in the local market. Notably, from 2017 to 2019, he achieved the highest sales volume of any agent in Nassau County, Florida.

Currently, Joe is a part-owner of First Coast Sotheby’s and resides on Amelia Island Plantation. He enjoys cooking, spending quality time with his wife and their five children, and engaging in the myriad outdoor activities that Amelia Island offers. Additionally, Joe is actively involved in the community, serving on various non-profit committees, including those for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Nassau County.
