About Joseph Spann

Don Spann is a co-owner of RE/MAX Riverside, where he partners with his wife, Sue Spann. As a licensed Realtor specializing in both commercial and residential real estate, he leads the firm's commercial division.

Originally from Louisiana, Don relocated to Maine in 1983 to join the Planning Department at Bath Iron Works. Over the years, he advanced through various management roles until his retirement in January 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia, where he also received his commission in the U.S. Navy.

An active member of the community, Don has recently served as Chairman of the Southern Midcoast Chamber and continues to engage in various local initiatives. He currently holds the position of Chairman for both the Topsham Planning Board and Topsham Development Inc. (TDI), and he is a member of the MidCoast Council of Governments Loan Committee.
