Joy Erickson has enjoyed the neighborhoods of White Bear Lake for most of her life Graduating from Mahtomedi she continued her studies at Concordia College in Moorhead majoring in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Writing She pursued her passion for education as an elementary school teacher and then in District Management for Sylvan Learning Centers for 9 years Joy’s territory included Maplewood Roseville Woodbury Burnsville Edina Maple Grove Coon Rapids Monticello and St Cloud

During this time Joy mastered the Twin Cities roadways neighborhoods and school districts She trained staff in sales and teaching techniques researched different markets for expansion and managed the marketing and advertising for 17 franchises

This diverse skill-set and unique connection with people from so many different places sparked something inside Joy In 2005 Joy made a life-changing decision and altered her career path while staying true to her passion to educate and guide others Real Estate was on her horizon
