I was raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia I had an amazing role model my Dad who provided outstanding service to his community and is still known there today His business brought many moves for our family and I attended 4 different high schools in 2 ½ years This taught me to be resilient and flexible If you wanted to be a part of something then jump in and make it happen My faith is very important to me I worked with the youth for 10 years and took 12 medical mission trips to Costa Rica As a graduate from business college with an accounting degree I quickly realized I was too much of a people person to be stuck at a computer and switched gears to office management I have 37 years in customer service and business management Being a senior advocate in an upscale retirement community and a small business owner refined my business listening and problem solving skills
