About Julie Greenwell

Julie Greenwell brings a wealth of experience to the real estate sector, drawing from a robust 25-year career in finance within the oil and gas industry, specifically with the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). During her tenure, she dedicated the last seven years to managing offshore facility projects in the Gulf of Mexico.

Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Julie relocated to Houston in 1991. In 2009, she acquired a beach house in West Galveston, which served as a cherished second home until her retirement from ABS in 2016. Following her retirement, she embraced full-time island living in Galveston and embarked on her journey as a Realtor.

Julie is passionate about the unique offerings of Galveston and is eager to assist clients seeking investment properties, permanent residences, or vacation homes. She is known for her exceptional client service, available around the clock, and employs effective marketing strategies while being a proficient negotiator dedicated to her clients' interests.

She is a float captain for the Krewe of Gambrinus and volunteers with the Galveston Humane Society as a foster for animals in need. Furthermore, she actively supports the Wounded Warrior Project® and the Shriner’s Hospital for Children® in Galveston.

When not assisting clients in finding their ideal properties, Julie enjoys running, kayaking, and leisurely walks along the beaches of Galveston Island.
