About Julie Keefer

A second-generation resident of Petaluma, she is the daughter of long-time local business owners who fostered her early interest in real estate through frequent visits to open houses. This passion became a reality in the mid-1970s when her family purchased a home in Westridge, marking a significant moment in her childhood. She attended Grant Elementary School after transferring from the equally esteemed Cherry Valley School, followed by Petaluma Junior High and Petaluma High School.

She earned a degree in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara, which laid the foundation for her career in real estate. Her professional journey began in San Francisco, where she managed a Class A commercial high-rise office building located in the Financial District. Following her husband's job transfer to Colorado, she continued her career as a Colorado Broker Associate, overseeing commercial properties in downtown Denver and its surrounding areas.

The couple celebrated their wedding in Sonoma and welcomed two children into their family. Although they enjoyed their time in Colorado and cherished their community, they yearned for the close-knit environment of Petaluma that had shaped her upbringing. After seven years, they returned to Petaluma to provide their children with a similar small-town experience.

While raising her family, she actively engaged in her children's activities, serving as a member of the Waugh PTA and treasurer for the WISE Foundation within the Waugh School District. Her involvement extended to coaching soccer, supporting her daughter’s dance competitions, and cheering on her children in various sports, including lacrosse, basketball, football, soccer, baseball, and softball.

In addition to her family commitments, she enjoys home improvement projects, spending quality time with loved ones, wine tasting with friends, camping, snow skiing, and boating. She finds great fulfillment in her real estate career and is grateful for the exceptional team that supports her.
