Kama Burton serves as the Broker Owner of CMB Realty Services in Moreno Valley, where she combines her expertise in real estate with a commitment to education and community engagement. Since entering the real estate sector in 2005, she established her brokerage in 2020, driven by a passion for making homeownership attainable for those who may not see it as a possibility.

An educator at heart, Kama holds a position as an adjunct professor at Moreno Valley College, where she instructs students in pre-licensing real estate courses. Her dedication to training extends to her role as a facilitator for leadership development and practical skills for fellow real estate professionals. Additionally, she is a certified trainer for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), focusing on critical topics such as Bias Override and the At Home with Diversity Certification course.

In 2022, Kama made history as the first Black female president of the Inland Valleys Association of REALTORS® (IVAR), leading an organization of over 4,200 members. Her leadership roles continue as she serves as the Housing Policy Chair for IVAR and holds positions on the Board of Directors for both the California and National Association of REALTORS®. A proud graduate of the NAR Leadership Academy in 2022, she is also affiliated with the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, which advocates for Black homeownership and promotes equity in housing.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Kama founded the non-profit organization Loving Me 1st, which provides mentorship to Black girls, fostering self-esteem and self-worth. Her initiative has expanded to support Hispanic and other minority communities within the Moreno Valley School District, reflecting her belief in the importance of giving back to the community she serves.
