His upbringing in the Sierra Nevada fostered a love for outdoor activities, including fly fishing, hiking, backpacking, and paddle boarding. Now, alongside his wife Aimee, their two daughters, and their dogs Pickle and Riley, Kane enjoys sharing these passions with his family. The family often indulges in “glamping” adventures with their cherished fifth wheel, Duchess.

As Truckee continues to evolve, particularly in the realms of art and culture, Kane actively contributes to the community. His love for theater is evident through his performances and direction with the Truckee Community Theater. As his daughters grow, he is excited to pass on his enthusiasm for the arts to them.
