In the late 1980s, she returned to the North Carolina mountains with her husband, Leon, and their two sons, Josh and Travis. Since then, she has resided on Beech Mountain. Before joining Blue Ridge Realty & Investments LLC, Karen and Leon collaborated in the construction industry, building homes throughout the High Country. Her extensive knowledge of construction enhances her capabilities as a Realtor.

In her free time, Karen enjoys rollerblading, skiing, ice skating, and taking walks with Jasper, the family’s chocolate Labrador.
