About Karen Rice

A Boston native, this real estate professional has deep roots in Ogunquit, Maine, where summers spent at the family’s second home fostered a lifelong connection to the area. After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of New England in Biddeford in 2005, she settled in North Berwick, where she and her husband embarked on their first investment property. Together, they undertook a comprehensive renovation of a duplex, transforming it into a welcoming family home.

In 2013, her husband was deployed to Afghanistan for a year, leaving her to manage their household and three daughters. During this challenging time, real estate became a source of solace and motivation. She diligently tracked new listings, preparing for the purchase of a single-family home upon his return. In 2014, they successfully found their ideal residence in York, Maine, which ignited her passion for the real estate industry.

In September 2016, after her youngest daughter entered kindergarten, she joined RE/MAX Realty One, where she quickly achieved her first closing just weeks later.
