About Karen Schwartz

Karen has been a dedicated professional in the residential real estate sector, with a focus on new construction, since 2005. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, she began her career with Pulte Group Inc. During her tenure there, she pursued further education, obtaining an MBA in Marketing Management from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Business School in 2010. Notably, she played a pivotal role in launching ten new developments across the Chicagoland area while at Pulte Group.

In 2014, Karen co-founded Chicago New Properties alongside her business partner, Laura McGreal. Two years later, they were invited to join Dream Town Realty, where they integrated their brokerage into a new venture known as The Laura McGreal and Karen Schwartz Group. Since becoming part of Dream Town Realty, they have collaborated with various developers to successfully launch new condominium buildings, townhome communities, and single-family home projects. Their team has grown to eight members, all committed to delivering exceptional service to their clients.

Karen's enthusiasm for real estate is driven by her desire to ensure that clients have a positive experience, whether they are renting their first apartment, buying or selling a home, or downsizing.
