Karin has been a dedicated real estate professional since 2001, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her clients. She is an active member of the National Association of Realtors, as well as both the Lake and Sumter Realtor Association and the South Lake and West Orange Chambers of Commerce. Her commitment to the community was recognized in 2014 when she was honored as the Humanitarian of the Year by the Lake and Sumter Realtor Association.

In addition to her real estate credentials, Karin holds a Florida Builders Certified Building Contractor License and is certified in short sales. Karin has also contributed her expertise to local governance, having served on the Town of Montverde Parks and Recreation Committee and the Planning and Zoning Board. Originally from the Chicago area, Karin grew up along the Mississippi River in Hannibal, Missouri. At 18, she relocated to Florida, where she married John Arellano over 27 years ago in Orlando. The couple settled in Montverde in 1993 to raise their two children, Kaleb and Kelsey. Outside of her professional endeavors, Karin enjoys kayaking, horseback riding, and engaging in animal rescue.
