About Karlyn Ellis

Karlyn is a seasoned real estate professional with deep roots in Southern California, where she graduated from Irvine High School in 1991. In 1994, she relocated to Texas, where she met her husband, James, a custom home builder. Together, they are the proud parents of two children, aged 11 and 18.

Karlyn's connection to the real estate industry was a natural progression, inspired by her husband's work in custom home construction. Initially, she engaged in buying and selling properties for personal use, but her passion quickly led her to pursue real estate full-time. Since obtaining her broker's license in 2006, Karlyn has made significant strides in the industry.

In 2012, she co-founded Prosper Properties with the vision of creating a locally owned brokerage that prioritizes comprehensive support for its agents, enabling them to thrive in their careers.
