About Katherine Manderson

Katherine, a lifelong resident of Tuscaloosa, possesses an in-depth understanding of the city and its surrounding areas. She has been a valued member of Hamner Real Estate LLC since launching her career in April 2005.

A graduate of The University of Alabama, Katherine earned a degree in Communication and Information Sciences, majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Consumer Science. During her time at the university, she actively participated in various extracurricular activities, including the Freshman Forum, the Student Government Association, and Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority.

Katherine has collaborated with numerous civic organizations, contributing her time and expertise to the Alabama Center of Childhood Cancer & Blood Disorders at Children’s Hospital, United Way of West Alabama, the University of Alabama RISE Program, the PARA Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity of Tuscaloosa, among others.

In addition to her community involvement, Katherine holds positions on the Board of Directors for both the Tuscaloosa Association of Realtors and the Alabama Association of Realtors, as well as various local and state committees.

Katherine is married to Buddy Manderson, a Tuscaloosa-based home builder with Manderson Construction Company Inc. Together, they enjoy raising their beloved yellow English Labrador Retriever, Hobbs.
