Raised in a family of lobstermen in Maine, Kate developed a strong work ethic from an early age. This foundation, combined with her entrepreneurial spirit, inspired her to venture westward, leaving behind the snowy shores of her hometown for the sunny California coast. Although the transition was significant, Kate embraced the challenge and quickly adapted to her new environment, finding comfort in the familiar small-town atmosphere of Santa Monica, even if the ocean was on the "wrong" side.

Once settled, Kate established her personal assistant business, “Kate K My Way,” which thrived for over a decade through client referrals. Her genuine desire to assist others and make a meaningful impact set her apart in a competitive market. Kate’s straightforward East Coast practicality ensures that she delivers results efficiently and effectively, principles she now applies to her real estate practice.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Kate actively engages with her community as a Board Member of the Ocean Park Association. Her commitment to her clients is unwavering, characterized by excellent communication, meticulous attention to detail, and a focus on achieving positive outcomes. Above all, Kate values honesty and integrity, infusing her business interactions with a sense of humor.

Outside of her professional life, Kate and her husband, Steve, reside in the Ocean Park neighborhood of Santa Monica, where they fully embrace the joys of coastal living. While it may sound cliché, Kate genuinely enjoys long walks on the beach—though early risers might catch her at Tower 26. Her other interests include cooking for friends, attending local theater productions, gardening, and delving into science fiction and Stephen King novels.
