About Kathryn Herman

Kathryn Illig Herman, a native of Hickory, North Carolina, has deep roots in her community. She attended Hickory High School, where she distinguished herself in various competitive sports. Following her graduation in 1998, Kathryn pursued a degree in Communication Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. During her time in Greensboro, she gained valuable experience through an internship with Coldwell Banker Triad Realtors. Shortly after completing her education, she married Dixon Herman, also from Hickory.

Kathryn's passion for real estate led her to join a high-performing team in 2001, where she not only engaged in property listings and sales but also developed innovative marketing strategies that contributed to the team's success. Over nearly nine years, she amassed significant experience, participating in approximately $236 million in sales. In October 2010, Kathryn took the bold step of establishing her own path by joining Coldwell Banker Boyd & Hassell Inc. REALTORS®.

Carly Black Pruitt, also a Hickory native, excelled in both academics and athletics during her time at Hickory High School, graduating in 2000. She then attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Finance, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2004. After returning to Hickory, Carly married her high school sweetheart, Zach Pruitt.

In June 2004, Carly joined the same top-producing real estate team as Kathryn, where she quickly became involved in property listings and sales. After six successful years in the industry, Carly chose to establish her own brand and joined Coldwell Banker Boyd & Hassell Inc. REALTORS® in October 2010. She and Zach are proud parents to two children, Max and Kate.
