After earning her degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and studying in London, she embarked on a successful marketing career in Boston. She later worked with notable clients such as Yahoo, Sony, and Charles Schwab in San Francisco. In 2005, she transitioned to real estate, equipped with exceptional communication skills, innovative marketing strategies, project management expertise, and strong leadership qualities. This diverse skill set, combined with her extensive knowledge of the East Bay, provides her clients with a competitive edge in the dynamic Bay Area market.

In response to the changing landscape of 2020, Katie sought new ways to enhance her service and contribute to her community. This introspection led to the establishment of Connect California Homes in 2022, a venture aimed at fostering deeper, more meaningful relationships among clients, agents, and the community. Beyond her professional endeavors, Katie is dedicated to giving back to her community. She serves on the board of RAGE Girls Soccer Club, co-founded TOPSoccer, volunteers with Hively, and organizes an annual coat drive that has collected up to 500 coats. In her personal life, she cherishes time spent with her husband and three daughters, enjoying activities such as raising chickens and caring for their two goldador dogs. The family can often be found at soccer fields, volleyball gyms, or enjoying time near water.
