Her journey in real estate began at Prudential California Realty, where her strong ethical standards and in-depth market knowledge led to her invitation to join Aviara in 2007.

In addition to her role as a real estate agent, Katy has served as an Ombudsman for the Conejo Association of Realtors, mediating disputes between buyers, sellers, and agents. Her commitment to the profession is further reflected in her active participation in Aviara, where she has contributed to the Education Committee, held the position of Treasurer on the Board of Directors, and currently serves on the Budget and Finance Committee. She has also built a dedicated team to ensure comprehensive support for her clients.

Katy holds an Honors Degree in Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Education. Before transitioning to real estate, she spent ten years as a successful Administrator and Math Teacher at California Lutheran University, during which she developed a passion for real estate and began acquiring properties.

Outside of her professional life, Katy is married and has two children: Scott, 18, who is studying at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and Craig, 15, who is in his second year of high school. In her leisure time, she enjoys sailing, snowboarding, and family activities.
