Kelly is a lifelong resident of the New London-Spicer area. He pursued higher education at Mankato State University, earning a degree in Elementary Education. Following his graduation, he dedicated eight years to teaching in Woodbury, Minnesota, before returning to his hometown to embark on a career in real estate.
