Originally hailing from Tennessee, the agent's family settled in the Edge-O-Lake area shortly after his birth. He spent his formative years there before relocating to Mt. Juliet's Glade community in 2008 with his wife and three children.

An alumnus of McGavock High School, he furthered his education at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). He embarked on his real estate career in 1987 when he became a Realtor, followed by his certification as an appraiser in 1991. Over the years, he has engaged in various facets of real estate, including limited rehabbing and serving as an approved appraiser instructor in multiple states. His expertise lies in accurately determining market value, whether for buyers or sellers.

Outside of his professional life, he and his family are active members of Immanuel Nashville Church.
