About Kim Peoples

Kim made the seamless transition from the eastern side of Michigan to the vibrant community of Ann Arbor, a decision that was solidified after her graduation from Eastern Michigan University in 1989. The allure of Ann Arbor captivated her senses, from the fragrant cedar and pine trees to the recreational opportunities on the Huron River, and the lively atmosphere of downtown, especially during the Annual Art Fairs. In 1989, she purchased her first home in downtown Ann Arbor, fully embracing the charm of the area.

With a degree in Marketing from Eastern Michigan University, Kim spent a decade in Sales and Marketing with Boise Cascade Office Products Division. However, her true passion lay in real estate. Following her husband’s example, she made the bold choice to leave the corporate sector for the entrepreneurial realm of real estate in 1987. As Sales Manager for Bayberry Construction and Harris Homes, she played a pivotal role in helping over 150 families achieve their dream of homeownership in the picturesque golf course communities of Stonebridge and The Polo Fields.

After successfully developing these communities, Kim transitioned to residential resale with The Charles Reinhart Company, a leading regional brokerage. Recently, the firm merged with Real Estate One, further enhancing its reputation while maintaining its local roots. Kim appreciates being part of a nationally recognized company that still embodies a small-town feel, allowing her to provide her clients with the best of both worlds.

Her dedication to her profession and her community has earned Kim recognition as one of the top agents at The Reinhart Company since 2001. She is committed to helping individuals and families find their ideal home in the Greater Ann Arbor Area. If you are considering buying or selling a property, Kim invites you to connect with her to discuss your real estate aspirations. Experience the exceptional lifestyle that Ann Arbor has to offer with her guidance.

Sincerely,
Kim

Washtenaw County, Michigan represents one of the state's most dynamic and economically diverse real estate markets, anchored by the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and supported by a thriving mix of academic institutions, healthcare systems, and technology companies. This unique economic foundation creates a remarkably stable housing market that defies many traditional Midwest patterns, with home values consistently outperforming state averages and demonstrating resilience even during broader economic downturns.

The county's real estate landscape is served by 2,469 actively licensed agents, all of whom maintain email contact information, creating an unusually well-connected professional network. This concentration of real estate professionals reflects the market's complexity and opportunity, as agents navigate everything from luxury homes in Ann Arbor's Burns Park neighborhood to affordable starter homes in Ypsilanti and rural properties in the county's western townships.

Major Washtenaw County, Michigan Real Estate Markets

Ann Arbor dominates the county's real estate activity, with its prestigious university driving consistent demand from faculty, staff, and graduate students seeking long-term housing solutions. The city's west side neighborhoods, including Wines Elementary and Lawton Elementary districts, command premium prices due to their combination of excellent schools and proximity to the university. Meanwhile, downtown Ann Arbor's condominium market has exploded with luxury high-rises catering to empty nesters and young professionals working in the area's growing tech sector.

Ypsilanti and surrounding communities like Saline, Chelsea, and Dexter each offer distinct market characteristics that savvy agents have learned to navigate expertly. Ypsilanti attracts first-time homebuyers and investors with its affordable housing stock and ongoing revitalization efforts, while Saline appeals to families seeking newer construction and top-rated schools. Chelsea and Dexter provide small-town charm with reasonable commuting access to Ann Arbor's employment centers, creating competitive markets for move-up buyers.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Washtenaw County's real estate market operates on multiple speeds simultaneously, with luxury properties in Ann Arbor's most desirable neighborhoods often selling within days of listing, while rural properties in townships like Manchester or Bridgewater may require months to find the right buyer. This complexity demands agents who understand not just pricing strategies but also the subtle demographic shifts occurring as remote work enables more professionals to choose lifestyle over proximity to traditional employment centers.

Seasonal patterns in Washtenaw County differ markedly from typical Michigan markets due to the university calendar's influence on rental and purchase timing. Spring brings intense activity as faculty members relocate and families time moves around school schedules, while late summer sees unique opportunities as university-related buyers complete transactions before the academic year begins. These patterns create windows of opportunity that experienced local agents leverage for their clients' benefit.

Why Businesses Need Washtenaw County, Michigan Agent Contact Data

The concentration of 2,469 licensed agents with complete email accessibility presents exceptional opportunities for real estate service providers, technology companies, and financial institutions seeking to connect with active professionals in a high-value market. These agents collectively handle billions in annual transaction volume while serving clients who typically demand sophisticated services and innovative solutions, making them ideal partners for businesses offering everything from staging services to mortgage products.

Mortgage lenders and real estate technology platforms particularly benefit from direct access to Washtenaw County's agent network, as these professionals regularly encounter clients with complex financing needs, multiple property transactions, and investment portfolios requiring specialized expertise. The county's agents also demonstrate higher-than-average technology adoption rates and continuing education participation, making them receptive to new tools and services that enhance their client relationships and competitive positioning.
