About Kristy Jones

KRISTY JONES - Associate Broker GRI Team Lead
A little about me
Well I am student of Christ (always learning) I am a wife and mother (learning here too:) but I am also a Realtor who firmly believes that you reap what you sow meaning God blesses what you put out into the world (even when you don’t see it right away)
I've lived in West Michigan for most of my life With 6 years "married to the military" we've also spent time in Arizona and Germany where our first child was born Ultimately the Midwest called us back home and with my husbands roots in Caledonia and mine in Wayland we ventured a bit west and decided to settle in Hudsonville where we lived for 8 years Now onto our second home we decided to try out the “east side” and currently reside in Middleville surrounded by God’s beauty We have 2 children Austin and Sophia and 3 fur babies (Sullivan Savannah and Sadie) who keep things interesting in life
When my husband and I purchased our first home years ago it was a very exciting rewarding and nerve-wracking time in our lives Your subsequent purchases and sales can be just as exciting or nerve-wracking simply because it is not every day that you purchase or sell a home Wouldn’t it make sense to have someone that deals with real estate every day in your corner I sell on average 35 homes a year and each experience is different that's a lot more knowledge than the average homeowner that moves every 3-5 years I am an associate broker I have my GRI designation and I’ve been licensed since 2012 I hold a Bachelors of Fine Art from Kendall and have previous experience in Design Construction Sales and Project Management
Making a house a home that a potential buyer can "see" themselves living in can make or break a showing That is why all of my listings are professionally staged and photographed before they hit the market Putting our best foot forward and making a great first impression is so important I walk my clients through the entire process from the early stages of talking about buying and selling all the way through to the closing table and beyond When you work with me you get an ?Agent for Life?! I will stay in touch and I will be there for you after you’ve moved into your new home for years to come If you need a contractor referral I want you to think of me first! I have many trusted reputable local trades people that I have the honor of working with over the years The value in a Realtor is not just “making the sale” it is finding the perfect home getting your clients settled in that home and then being there for anything that comes up along the way
I don’t have a crystal ball and I won’t make promises that I can’t keep but what I will do is bring you the facts and research the data so we can make educated decisions together that meet your end goals and needs I will communicate effectively and efficiently and keep you updated regularly I will be available Monday-Friday 8-7pm and Saturdays/nights as necessary When negotiating an offer I make myself available at all times My goal is to make the buying and selling process as seamless and enjoyable as possible You can trust me to guide you through the process of selling or buying your home and be confident that you’ve selected someone who will always have your best interest in mind we are a team!

Kent County, Michigan represents one of the state's most dynamic and diverse real estate markets, anchored by Grand Rapids as the second-largest city in Michigan. The county's real estate landscape encompasses everything from historic urban neighborhoods and modern downtown condominiums to sprawling suburban developments and rural properties along the Grand River. With 5,829 total actively licensed agents operating throughout the region, the market demonstrates remarkable depth and professional expertise that reflects the area's economic vitality and population growth.

What makes Kent County particularly intriguing is its blend of established communities like East Grand Rapids and Kentwood alongside rapidly developing areas such as Byron Center and Cascade Township. The presence of major employers including Steelcase, Amway, and Spectrum Health has created sustained demand for both residential and commercial properties, while the county's 5,829 agents with email connectivity ensure that market information flows efficiently across all sectors and price points.

Major Kent County, Michigan Real Estate Markets

Grand Rapids dominates Kent County's real estate activity, with distinct markets ranging from the trendy Heritage Hill historic district to the modern high-rises of downtown and the family-friendly neighborhoods of Eastown and Creston. Surrounding communities like Wyoming offer more affordable housing options, while East Grand Rapids commands premium prices for its excellent schools and lakefront properties. The suburban markets of Kentwood, Grandville, and Walker provide diverse housing stock that appeals to young professionals and growing families alike.

Beyond the Grand Rapids metropolitan core, Kent County's real estate markets extend into charming smaller communities such as Rockford, with its quaint downtown and highly rated schools, and Caledonia, known for newer construction and rural-suburban appeal. The northern townships like Algoma and Plainfield offer a mix of agricultural properties and residential developments, while areas like Cascade Township feature some of the county's most exclusive neighborhoods and luxury home markets.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Kent County's real estate market exhibits fascinating micro-trends that vary dramatically by location and property type. The downtown Grand Rapids condo market has experienced significant growth due to urban revitalization efforts and the influx of young professionals, while suburban markets like Byron Center and Caledonia have seen new construction booms driven by families seeking modern amenities and top-rated schools. Inventory levels fluctuate considerably between urban, suburban, and rural segments, creating opportunities for agents who understand these distinct market dynamics.

The county's geographic diversity creates unique challenges and opportunities, from waterfront properties along numerous lakes to historic homes in established neighborhoods and new developments on former agricultural land. Seasonal patterns affect different areas uniquely, with lake properties experiencing summer surges while urban markets maintain more consistent year-round activity. This complexity requires deep local knowledge and sophisticated market analysis to navigate successfully.

Why Businesses Need Kent County, Michigan Agent Contact Data

Real estate service providers, from mortgage lenders to home improvement contractors, require direct access to Kent County's extensive network of 5,829 licensed agents to effectively market their services across this geographically diverse and economically robust market. The county's mix of urban, suburban, and rural properties creates varied client needs, and businesses that can connect with agents specializing in specific niches—whether luxury homes in East Grand Rapids or first-time buyer markets in Wyoming—gain significant competitive advantages.

Having email contact information for all active agents enables businesses to segment their marketing efforts by geographic focus, price range, and client demographics. This targeted approach proves especially valuable in Kent County, where agent specializations often align with specific communities or property types, and where the strong local economy creates consistent demand for real estate-related services across multiple market segments.
