About Kyle Zelmer

A lifelong resident of Southwest Michigan, the agent currently resides in Niles, having explored various regions of the state. However, the charm and warmth of Southwest Michigan remain unparalleled, making it the ideal place to establish roots.

Educated in the local school system, the agent graduated from Buchanan High School and holds an Associate of Arts degree from Lake Michigan College. Furthering their education, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Grand Valley State University and a Master of Business Administration from Davenport University.

Outside of real estate, the agent enjoys an active lifestyle, often seen running or walking with their two energetic dogs, Oakley and Rocky. When not assisting clients in finding their dream homes or selling properties, they cherish time spent with family and friends, particularly during summer evenings around a fire or grilling outdoors.

Since entering the real estate industry in January 2017, the agent has built a solid foundation in the field, inspired by a grandparent who dedicated their career to real estate in Southwest Michigan. In July 2022, they founded Horizon Realty Group after serving as the managing broker at D MottL Realty Group in Buchanan. In addition to their real estate endeavors, the agent is actively involved in the community. They began a six-year term as an elected member of the Niles Community Schools Board of Education in January 2021, where they currently serve as Vice President, making them one of the youngest officials in the state. They also contribute to the Buchanan Area Chamber of Commerce as a board member and serve as treasurer for the local nonprofit Ride for Tyler. The agent owns a rental property in Niles and has plans for further investment.
