About Lary Clark

Licensed in real estate since 1986, this professional became a broker in 1997 and established a Century 21 franchise, marking a significant milestone as the first brokerage outside Council Bluffs to join the Southwest Iowa Association of Realtors. In 2008, they expanded their portfolio by acquiring a United Country franchise, and in 2011, they made history as the first President of the Board from outside Council Bluffs in over a century.

In 2013, recognizing the evolving landscape of real estate technology, they transitioned to an independent practice, leveraging tools that were once exclusive to franchise operations.

A lifelong resident of the community, they continue to reside in the home where they were born and raised. All three of their daughters are graduates of West Harrison Community High School, the same institution they attended. A passionate advocate for basketball, they dedicated 14 years to coaching, with eight years leading the boys' team and six years with the girls'. Their coaching tenure was marked by a commitment to excellence, contributing to the revival of the program after having played on a Conference Champion team in 1977 and later coaching another championship team in 2000. This same dedication and enthusiasm are brought to their real estate career.

Harrison County, Iowa's real estate market operates as a tightly-knit professional community where personal relationships and local expertise drive most transactions. With just 21 actively licensed agents serving the entire county, this market demonstrates how rural Iowa real estate functions on a fundamentally different scale than urban centers, where individual agents often develop deep specialization in specific neighborhoods and property types across multiple communities.

The remarkable connectivity within this market is evidenced by the fact that all 21 licensed agents maintain email communication channels, reflecting a modern approach to client service despite the county's rural character. This complete digital accessibility suggests that Harrison County's real estate professionals understand the importance of maintaining responsive communication with clients who may be relocating from urban areas or managing property transactions remotely.

Major Harrison County, Iowa Real Estate Markets

Logan serves as Harrison County's primary real estate hub, functioning as the county seat and largest community with approximately 1,500 residents. The Logan market encompasses a diverse mix of historic homes, newer subdivisions, and commercial properties that serve the broader agricultural region. Missouri Valley, positioned along the Missouri River, represents another significant market area where proximity to major transportation corridors creates unique opportunities for both residential and commercial development.

Smaller communities like Woodbine, Pisgah, and Dunlap each maintain distinct real estate characteristics shaped by their agricultural heritage and proximity to recreational areas. These markets often feature larger lot sizes, properties with outbuildings suitable for hobby farming, and homes that appeal to buyers seeking small-town Iowa living while maintaining reasonable access to Omaha metro area employment opportunities located just across the Missouri River.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Harrison County's real estate market benefits from its strategic location along Iowa's western border, where the Loess Hills create unique topographical features that influence both property values and development patterns. Properties with Loess Hills views or acreage command premium prices, while the county's proximity to the Omaha metropolitan area creates interesting dynamics where some buyers seek rural retreats within commuting distance of urban employment centers.

The agricultural foundation of the local economy means that farmland transactions, rural residential properties, and small-town commercial real estate often intersect in ways that require agents to understand diverse property types and financing options. Seasonal fluctuations in agricultural income can influence timing of real estate transactions, while the county's recreational hunting and fishing opportunities create a niche market for recreational property buyers from urban areas.

Why Businesses Need Harrison County, Iowa Agent Contact Data

Financial institutions, mortgage companies, and insurance providers targeting rural Iowa markets can leverage Harrison County's complete agent email database to establish relationships with professionals who handle diverse property portfolios. These agents often work with clients managing everything from family farms to residential properties, creating opportunities for businesses offering specialized rural lending products or agricultural property insurance solutions.

Real estate technology companies, continuing education providers, and professional service vendors will find Harrison County agents particularly valuable as they represent a completely connected professional network within a defined geographic area. The ability to reach all licensed agents through email enables efficient market penetration for businesses introducing new tools, services, or educational opportunities specifically designed for rural real estate markets.
