Laura is also committed to community service. She serves on the board of directors for a teenage residential drug treatment program and volunteers at the Sutter Health Breast Cancer Center. Additionally, she participates annually in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night fundraiser and has recently joined Farm to Pantry, which provides healthy local food to those in need. As a member of the Slow Food Russian River Chapter, she promotes sustainable food practices and is CPR and First Aid certified.
