Laura brings over fifteen years of sales experience to her role in real estate. Originally from Northeast Iowa, she relocated to Arkansas in 2010 to join Ozark Gateway Realty, where she assisted her father, Richard, in managing the business. After five years of gaining valuable insights into the industry, she became the owner and Principal Broker of Ozark Gateway Realty. Laura has a strong focus on owner financing and lease-to-own transactions, having begun her career in the property management sector.

In recognition of her contributions to the field, Laura was honored as the Realtor of the Year by the Tri-County Board of Realtors in 2014. She holds both the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) accreditation and the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation.

Married to her husband Michiel for 24 years this October, Laura is a devoted mother to their two children, Maria and Lucas, who keep their family life vibrant. The family also shares their home with several beloved pets. In addition to her real estate career, Laura is a licensed Veterinary Technician and volunteers at the Cherokee Village Animal Shelter, where she focuses on socializing dogs.

She served as secretary of the preschool board until its closure in 2012 and subsequently took on the role of financial secretary until January 2015.
