About Laura Duckworth

HISTORY
I moved here 18 years ago to attend MSU and although I spent some time overseas and in Oregon it is the people and small town feel of Springfield that I will always come back to and call home
My undergraduate studies in art and psychology lead to marketing and an MBA After years as a marketing director I decided to take an exciting detour to real estate so that I could directly apply my marketing banking and customer service experience My goal as a residential agent is to transform the home-buying and selling process into an enjoyable experience for my clients
HEART
My commitment to our community is another reason I was drawn to real estate and to being Chair of the Community Development Committee of the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors
HORIZON
The real estate industry has been transformed by technology and bigger changes are on the horizon! Due to consumer demand the tradition of commission structures will likely be changed so that the cost is determined more by the services performed than on the value of the home Not only are flat fee brokerages cost effective and innovative (think of other market disruptors like Amazon Uber Netflix) with Flat Fee Redefined by eXp Realty you the seller get a LOCAL full service experience at a discounted commission rate while also benefitting from the resources of an international brokerage! My personal commitment is to approach every transaction with integrity determination and an attention to detail
HOBBIES
In addition to my amateur cat-video filming hobby I also paint and teach stationary bike ("spinning") classes at Genesis Health Clubs

Greene County, Missouri's real estate market serves as a dynamic economic hub in the southwestern region of the state, anchored by Springfield as the third-largest city in Missouri. The county's diverse landscape encompasses everything from bustling urban developments to serene rural properties, creating a complex marketplace that attracts both first-time homebuyers and seasoned investors. With 2,057 total actively licensed agents operating throughout the region, the market demonstrates remarkable depth and professional expertise.

What makes Greene County particularly intriguing is its ability to maintain steady growth while preserving affordability compared to major metropolitan areas. The presence of 2,057 agents with email connectivity reflects the market's embrace of digital communication and modern real estate practices. This technological adoption has become crucial as out-of-state buyers increasingly discover the county's attractive combination of educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and recreational amenities.

Major Greene County, Missouri Real Estate Markets

Springfield dominates the county's real estate landscape, offering diverse neighborhoods from historic districts near Drury University to modern subdivisions in the southern corridors. The city's role as a regional medical and educational center creates consistent demand for both residential and commercial properties. Beyond Springfield, communities like Republic, Willard, and Strafford have experienced significant growth as families seek smaller-town atmospheres while maintaining access to urban amenities.

The county's geographic diversity creates distinct market segments, from lakefront properties near Fellows Lake to agricultural land in the northern townships. Each area presents unique opportunities and challenges, requiring specialized knowledge that the county's extensive network of real estate professionals provides. The Wilson's Creek National Battlefield area has seen particular interest from buyers seeking properties with historical significance and natural beauty.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Greene County's real estate market benefits from Missouri State University's presence, which creates a reliable rental market and attracts young professionals who often transition from renters to buyers. The county's healthcare sector, anchored by major hospital systems, provides employment stability that translates into sustained housing demand. Surprisingly, the market has shown resilience against economic fluctuations, partly due to its diversified economy that isn't overly dependent on any single industry.

The geographic complexity of Greene County means that market conditions can vary significantly between districts. Rural properties in the northern areas operate on different timelines and pricing structures compared to suburban developments around Springfield. This complexity requires deep local knowledge and explains why the county supports such a substantial number of real estate professionals who specialize in specific geographic areas and property types.

Why Businesses Need Greene County, Missouri Agent Contact Data

Mortgage lenders, insurance providers, and home service companies can leverage Greene County's comprehensive agent network to expand their market reach effectively.
