About Lauren Thompson

Lauren Thompson became a member of the Santa Rosa Office in June 2015, bringing with her a wealth of experience in mortgage lending and marketing. Initially serving as the Marketing Director, she played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s branding and executing targeted marketing strategies for property listings. Now, she is channeling her extensive behind-the-scenes knowledge into her current role as a sales associate, where she focuses on direct client engagement.

Lauren prefers the title of "real estate advocate" to "real estate agent." She emphasizes, “For me, it’s never about sales; it’s about guiding my clients through one of the most significant, complex, and often emotional transactions they will ever experience. I am thankful for our collaborative culture, which supports me in my essential role of advocating for my clients.”

A native of Burlingame, Lauren earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication from UC Santa Barbara. She moved to Santa Rosa in 2008 and has since embraced the region wholeheartedly. She appreciates Sonoma County for its stunning landscapes, vibrant farm-to-table dining, regional parks, welcoming community, and, of course, its renowned wineries.

“Sonoma County is truly a wonderful place to live,” she notes. “The beauty and quality of life here are unparalleled, and we enjoy greater affordability compared to our Bay Area neighbors to the south. I take great pleasure in introducing Bay Area clients to all that Sonoma County has to offer.”

Lauren is deeply committed to her community and values her role in local real estate as a means to connect with the fabric of her surroundings. She has served as event chair for the John B. Riebli Elementary School PTA, raising significant funds through the annual dinner dance. Additionally, she has been involved with the Santa Rosa Mother’s Club Board, the Christ Methodist Preschool Board, and the Mark West Education Foundation as the donations chair. Her volunteer efforts extend to coaching her son’s little league team, as well as supporting Social Advocates for Youth and Habitat for Humanity. Recently, she has taken on the role of COPE organizer for her Mark West Estate neighborhood in Northeast Santa Rosa.

In her leisure time, Lauren enjoys hiking, cooking, wine tasting, and decorating her newly rebuilt home in Santa Rosa, cherishing moments spent with family and friends.
