He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Spanish Linguistics from California State University, San Marcos, where he also teaches beginning and intermediate Spanish courses in the evenings.

As a member of the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society, Sigma Delta Pi, Lazaro has contributed his expertise as a board member and webmaster.
